Bradley & Mallory’s wedding came from a recommendation. Mallory’s cousin put a shootout on Facebook for the following weekend. She was asking for a Sacramento wedding videographer. In response, I messaged her and told her that I was available. Mallory reached out to me via email pleading that I would capture their soon to be wedding day. We ended up connecting with Mallory’s mom, Kristeen, who told me about their love story. She had said that their couple friends regretted not having a wedding videographer for one of the most special days of their lives. Although last minute, I was booked!
The Wedding Day
It was a sunny mid-morning on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 when I arrived at Vizcaya’s Bed & Breakfast. The bridal party got ready in the living room portion of the guest house with pop music and storytelling from each of the ladies, while the groom and his party were getting ready downstairs in the basement entertained by football, drinks, and comfortable couches.
I met with Mallory first. She was calm and collected. You’d hardly notice the anxious butterflies in her stomach from her desire to finally see and be with her soon to be husband. Her girl squad did an excellent job to keep her mind entertained on stories and inside jokes. On the other hand, Bradley and his crew got ready super fast! Although they did have to slow down a bit to learn how to fold their handkerchiefs properly.
My favorite part of the day was their handwritten vows that they wrote for one another and also wrote together. I was so blessed to have been part of their day and wish them the very best. Congratulations Bradley & Mallory! Always.
We just watched it together on our big screen and I have to say, with more enthusiasm than a Facebook message can muster, THANK YOU. It is beautiful and absolutely perfect and we both agreed we love the video more than we loved the wedding itself…
