Alex & Lipika | Multi Cultural Wedding | Dublin Ranch Golf Course

Having two wedding ceremonies and a wedding reception on the same day can feel very overwhelming and stressful to remember everything that happened. Lipika had reached out to me months before her wedding and wanted to make sure that their day would be captured perfectly with film. It was necessary to her and Alex to have vendors whom they could trust to make sure that nothing will be amiss. The significance of marriage is of value by everyone involved both family and friends to have remembered and passed down to future generations years to come.

Multi-Culture Weddings Reveals Honor and Respect

In California especially, being the country’s melting pot culturally speaking, it is more common to attend and witness multi-cultural weddings with multiple ceremonies. Having first and second generation American immigrants urges a need to serve both the traditions of culture and religion and modern wedding ceremony services commonly accepted in American culture. For Alex and Lipika it was essential to them to have both a Hindu ceremony and a traditional American ceremony for both sides of their family to join and celebrate.

Although this journey stretches beyond a wedding day, having multiple wedding ceremonies exposes the beauty of the honor and respect the bride and groom, and each of their families, has for the other’s background, beliefs, and heritage. Not only was Alex marrying Lipika, but each of their families was becoming one. Watching both sides of their families join in unity brings a hard to recognize beauty at the moment.

Gift of a Preserved Legacy

The emotional momentary whispers and the cries and cheers of Alex and Lipika’s family and friends are wrapped up in the following wedding highlight film. From the outside, the wedding film would be another one you have watched, but if you think about the people who were involved and present at Alex and Lipika’s wedding day are affecting history by the inheritance of the Dutra’s legacy being passed to generations to come.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Dutra! May this film remind you of your love, honor, and respect for one another until death does you part.
