Before you watch Trevor and Kristy’s almond orchard wedding highlight, there a few things you have to know about their love story. First off, it was written by God. Having met in high school and became best friends, Trevor and Kristy went to college, became sweethearts, and became young parents. Having lived a season of their lives apart from one another, it was by God’s grace that He brought them back together to where they are now husband and wife.
Almond Orchard Ceremony
The backyard was beautifully put together by Marie Harrison and her team from Tailor Made Events with gorgeous florals arranged and placed by Blossoms by Lisa. It was there where Trevor and Kristy said to one another their personalized vows (side note: Kristy was stunning her gorgeous dress from Flares Bridal! Which was inspiring for future brides). There were so much joy and happy tears that each of the bridesmaids (who wore Bianca Bridal Dresses) had to keep looking away to wipe the tears falling from their eyes (even afterward they still looked great, thanks to Aneesa Smith and Katerina at Inspirations Salon with their amazing hair and makeup skills!). Everything was beautiful and breathtaking.
Finally Daddy & Mommy
Not only was this a meaningful day for Trevor and Kristy, but also for their two little ones: Abigail and Brody. There were so many moments throughout the day that I was surprised by the seriousness both of these young ones who were able to understand the significance and seriousness of their parent’s union. Love and happiness were the two emotions that Abigail and Brody emanated throughout the wedding day. Although it was not always verbally, but with their eyes and faces that expressed their joy that this was the day daddy and mom finally got married!
If you listen closely after the vows during the almond orchard wedding highlight, you’ll hear Kristy reading a letter that Abigail wrote that morning. This letter was shared during the speeches portion of the evening among family and friends to which they enjoyed and laughed with fondness at the innocence and cuteness of a child’s perspective of her parent’s wedding. The moment was so precious that I could not resist not including the letter in the film.
Reception & Dancing
After the ceremony had concluded, guests were able to enjoy some yummy appetizers from Mango Crazy followed by Pete’s Outdoor Catering with their baked beans and delicious tri-tip while Olde Tyme Pastries provided the too good tasting sweets. Guests were able to admire Holly’s Hand Lettering invitations that were sent out and beautiful signs that were placed throughout the property include a mirrored seating chart. Throughout the day, George with Sounds of Motion was the MC keeping the flow of the day moving and grove through traditions and events while ending the night with the dance floor popping. Even Austyn Elizabeth, who beautifully photographed the entire wedding, was dancing with Kristy for a little bit!
We love being a part of a God-honoring wedding and re-telling Trevor and Kristy’s almond orchard love story through film. Trevor, Kristy, Abigail, and Brody, congratulations and thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day.
