It’s been over a year since the teaser release of Kaitlyn & Scott’s Geyserville wedding at Sbragia Family Vineyards. As a wedding videographer, watching the behind-the-scenes of the day is an honor. To be entrusted by the bride and groom, to be a part of their special day, AND to retell their wedding day story is priceless. […]
For Lorenzo and Jaya, it all started out as an unlikely friendship. It was through the test of time that the strength of their relationship was put under trial by difficulties and hardships. But their love for one another withstood and became the firm foundation of their marriage.
On a beautiful sunny day, on May 26th, 2018, Travis and Brianne became Mr. and Mrs. Little at a private estate in Oakdale, CA. Their classic country garden wedding was like a Martha Stewart wedding cut out from a magazine combine with a country flare. The green bushes and the white flowers were the perfect backdrop to the navy and blush pink colors of the Little’s wedding party.
On June 9, 2018, Michael and Leanndra became Mr. and Mrs. Garza. This wedding was filled with joy and laughter amongst their family and friends to celebrate two people who respected their personal integrity and values even before their relationship began. At the reception venue, Brookeside Country Club, the testimonies that were shared and told of the newly weds brought honor, admiration and respect from all who were a part of the day Michael and Leanndra have been waiting for for so long.
A big lesson learned at this wedding is the importance of wedding traditions. No matter the length of the video or the smoothness from a cinematic film, the importance of including the wedding traditions of their union in the final highlight film is what mattered most to Ramon and Cindy. From their Catholic ceremony at St. Stanislaus in Modesto to their reception at the Riverbank’s Community Center, Cindy and Ramon surrounded themselves with friends and family who love them most to witness and participate in multiple wedding traditions.
Meeting one another at their church, Leanndra wanted to start learning how to play guitar, so Michael offered to teach her. After one of her “lessons,” Daniel, Michael’s brother, recalls during his best man speech that Michael said, “Woah, I’m sweating!” They started dating and had a beautiful testimony of their love and commitment to one another, their family, and especially God.
Before you watch Trevor and Kristy’s almond orchard wedding highlight, there a few things you have to know about their love story. First off, it was written by God. Having met in high school and became best friends, Trevor and Kristy went to college and became sweethearts and to also becoming young parents. Having lived a season of their lives apart from one another, it was by God’s grace that He brought them back together to where they are now husband and wife.
When I met Stephanie, it was on a trip to the Dominican Republic for a conference with a nonprofit organization called A Jesus Mission. Stephanie and I sat in a van together discussing the wedding details having not known anything about her prior to that day. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. To be honest, I tried keeping up with the fast-paced conversation but eventually kept silent because I was not able to come up with a well thought out response in the quickness she was able to talk. Definitely a characteristic that stood out and apparently not just to me, but her now-husband as well.
As the season changed from summer to fall, Andrew and Megan’s next season of life was about to begin. Family and friends gathered under the open fields of Waterford surrounded by beautiful old trees that have probably witnessed many vows and “I dos.”
