Jared was working as at bowling alley in Stockton when he first saw Janessa. From there, Jared happen to see her profile pop up on his suggested friends on Facebook. So he decided to send her a friend request. They were “just” Facebook friends for 8 months before their online friendship became a reality. Years later, at their favorite place: Disneyland, Jared proposed on Janessa’s birthday in September of 2017. And she said yes! On August 3, 3019, Jared and Janessa finally tied the knot and had their Modesto Catholic Wedding at St. Stanislaus and Double Tree’s Center Plaza.

Modesto Catholic Wedding Story
Having the peace of mind on your wedding day really starts with your trust in your wedding vendors. Jared and Janessa nailed it with all their wedding vendors for their 450 wedding guest party! There are not many venues that have the capacity for 450 guests, but St. Stanislaus and Center Plaza were the perfect venues for large weddings in the Modesto area.
It all Starts at the Beginning
One of the amazing vendors at Jared and Janessa’s Modesto Catholic wedding was Makeup By Lisa K & Sandra. Before we even arrived at the bridal suite, Lisa and Sandra were putting the final touches on the bridesmaids and the bride. Practically done!
If the hair and makeup is behind, it can throw the whole wedding day off. Not just in the timeline but as the bride you can get really stressed for time. This can make you not present and enjoying your party. You have been planning and waiting for this day. It is crucial to having a reliable hair and makeup team. Highly recommend Lisa and Sandra!
Modesto Catholic Wedding Outfits
Jared wore a dark navy blazer and pants with a light pink vest from Men’s Warehouse. His outfit choice really suited him. Haha see what I did there? Suit? Get it? Okay- I’ll stop now haha.
Janessa choose her beautiful lace sleeveless dress from Bianca’s Bridal in Modesto. This dress was paired with a STUNNING cathedral veil which is absolutely perfect for this Modesto Catholic wedding at St. Stanislaus.

Wedding Reception Party!
Arriving at Double Tree’s Center Plaza, Events Xtreme Party Rentals provided beautiful chairs, table details, and utensils. The room felt so glamorous. Janessa wanted a classic Pinterest wedding by choosing pinks and gold everywhere!
Matching the whole vibe of the reception, McHenry Village Baking Company created a three-tiered cake with floral accents with Jared and Janessa’s initials on the middle tier.
My favorite DJ company of all time, Sounds in Motion, was at this Jared & Janessa’s Modesto Catholic wedding! DJ George is the man! Remember Andrew and Megan’s wedding? That was the first wedding I’ve ever done with DJ George and I don’t recommend anyone else. Hands down George will get your guests on the dance floor no matter the weather, demographic, age, sex, etc.
Not only that, but Sounds in Motion also provided a photobooth for this Modesto Catholic wedding reception! Customizable backdrops with high quality photobooths and love notes from wedding guests.
