They say that any moment could be THE moment when you’ve met that special someone. For Christopher and Teresa, that moment happened when they were in elementary school! Chris was in second grade, and Teresa was in third grade. Something clicked when they met, and so they became instant friends. Little did they know that that friendship would bring them where they are today.
Christopher and Teresa are finally married! With close friends and family, these two love birds exchanged their vows and rings at Modesto’s Friendly Wedding Chapel located on Tully Rd in the College district. Mikela and her staff at the Friendly Wedding Chapel did an excellent job in making sure the bride and groom were happy and kept things moving smoothly.
When I had first talked with Aldofo, he explained to me that they were going to have family and friends at their wedding with no wedding party at all. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we met in person to go over the final details, and they told me that they had just gone from zero to a total of 20 wedding party members! Not only was this surprising, but twenty people is now Karissa Wright Productions’ newest record of the largest wedding party photographed!
It was Christine’s wish to have her engagement photos taken at a location in San Fransisco that fit her “formal” engagement session vision. Now you can look formal anywhere. Right after the engagement session, I saw a bride a groom come into the coffee shop I was at, and the photographer took some pictures of them all dressed up while drinking coffee! Simplicity is adequate, but I knew that Christine and Derick wanted their engagement session location to match their stunning and smoking formal look, so I suggested the popular (for an excellent reason) San Fransisco’s Palace of Fine Arts.
Daniel and Michelle told me during our consultation that they had just gone to the mountains with their two huskies so that they could enjoy the snow and cold weather. When the suggestion arose to have their engagement session at Pinecrest Lake, I could not contain my excitement. If you have never been or heard of Pinecrest Lake, you have to visit! Summer and Fall are hands down the best seasons to explore. However, because it is a favorite place, more people are around for their family vacations so in this scenario a Pinecrest Lake winter engagement session became the unexpected ideal.
Every couple wants the WOW FACTOR when it comes to shooting their engagement session. If you have never been to San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, you would know that this place is the definition of stunning! Derick & Christine had said that they wanted a formal engagement and I knew that this was the place I had to recommend them. Although far away, Christine’s dress in this shot is killer and brought sexiness to a broad perspective view that can completely lose the main subject altogether.
Chris & Kylie decided that they were going get married at San Fransisco’s City Hall. Because they traveled from the east coast, getting married at SF’s City Hall became their destination elopement wedding. Fortunately, the majority of their family and friends live in the west coast, so guests were easily accommodated to travel relatively locally for a weekend.
Weeks out from Trey and Jaclyn’s engagement session at San Fransisco’s Baker Beach there was a constant watch over the weather reports and predictions for the day of the photo session. San Fransisco is of course known for unpredictable weather patterns, so hoping that the day you’ve chosen to travel to the iconic city with the Golden Gate bridge can be a gamble. Thankfully the day chosen was partly cloudy enough to allow in enough sun for their weather perfect engagement session at Baker Beach!
Pedro and Susan chose to have their wedding day ceremony at University of Pacific’s Morris Chapel in Stockton. Words cannot express the preciousness these two people are to me personally and how much joy they bring in reminding me of why I do what I do. Their hearts are outwardly expressed even through the craziness of their wedding day; there was nothing that shook them from showing their love for one another and others around them.
Karissa Wright Productions had an outstanding opportunity to photograph and film at Oakdale’s The Reata for Zared and Jennifer’s August summer’s end wedding. Years, months, days, and hours were prepared and executed to make this one day of celebration of their union possible. However, for every story, there is a beginning, so let’s start there!
