Hi there! Welcome to the KW blog, a journal about our couples, engagements, and travels. Stay a while and say hello!

Hi, I'm Karissa.

Rico & Michelle | Spring Creek Country Club | Ripon, CA

Nov 30, 2017

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the love between two people as genuine as Rico and Michelle’s. Looking back at the highlights of their day, each moment was filled with love, laughter, and fun with both their family and friends.

Typically a lot of the couples that Karissa Wright Productions has the opportunity to retell their day are young or are in or just graduated college. What Rico & Michelle’s wedding day taught me was that it doesn’t matter what age or stage of life any couple is in when they get married. It’s almost more beautiful to see two people who have already experienced so much life individually, come together to continue life with another.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Spring Creek Country Club in Ripon, CA. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was beautifully decorated and arranged with purple and gold accents throughout. What brought everything together was the floral arrangements made by Embellish Floral (Keep your eye out for the two major ceremony pieces in the video!). Music during the pre-recession and recession during the ceremony was brought by Amelia Romano who is a local harpist in the bay area.

One thing during a wedding day you do not want to have to worry about is the cake arriving and looking good. You do not have to worry about Creative Cakes by Debra. As soon as our team arrived at the reception hall several hours before the ceremony was set to start, Debra arrived with the cake putting finishing touches on the florals and topper to finish her masterpiece. Everything about the cake fit with the theme splendidly!

Entertainment is what brings the celebration to life for the guests during the reception. A lot of weddings get caught up in the typical must-haves for the reception, but becomes amiss often is the focus on the point of having a party in the first place. DJ Quake did a great job keeping the focus thereby provided the MC and music to dance to while Photobooth Charms provided their custom instant print photo booth for the guests to use and remember Rico & Michelle’s special day.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
